Being in a group is a powerful way to deepen self-awareness and create authentic connection with others. Sometimes we feel totally alone in our struggle only to find that so many others in the room feel the same way. Group members serve as mirrors, reflecting to us the myriad facets of ourselves. In a group, we learn to embrace the radiant parts, as well as the more difficult parts of ourselves, using the power of the group to heal more quickly than doing so alone. Curious to learn more? This New York Times article portrays one individual’s experience of the power of group therapy.

Testimonials
“Deep gratitude for the care, nonjudgment, and sensitivity with which Amy built our sacred container with us to hold all the grief we brought into it, the flexibility we had to move between processing our grief verbally and physically and the wonderful art and other experiential activities as we wanted/needed in a given session. Amy was always finely attuned to what we needed and was there to support that in session. I appreciated all the rituals that tied it all (and our group) together on our 12-week journey. A very heartfelt bow of thanks for creating an in-person weekly village to hold each individual’s, as well as our collective grief!”
“Amy’s group was recommended to me from two different people in my life. If there is any reason why I feel more grounded, more understood and more held in my grief now, it is because of Amy’s remarkable facilitation and the space she creates for grievers. I am so grateful that I found this group when I did, and hope to continue for as long as Amy will have me.”
